Try These Recipes Quick Cooking Tips
Hate cooking cabbage? Put a heel of bread on top of the cabbage and voila, you won't have any unpleasant odor! Same goes for broccoli and brussels sprouts. (Chris and Tim will definitely appreciate that little tip.)! Chris says you can eliminate odor by placing a walnut in the water when you cook.

Desserts

Martha Washington Cake

Total cooking time: see below
1 CUP BUTTER
2 CUP SUGAR
3 CUP CAKE FLOUR
3 TSP. BP.
1/2 TSP. SALT (SIFT F,BP,S)
4 BEATEN EGG YOLKS
1 CUP MILK
1 TSP. VANILLA
4 BEATEN EGG WHITES
  1. Add egg yolks to butter and sugar, then add the sifted flour alternately with milk and vanilla.
  2. Cut in egg whites.
  3. Bake at 350F. for 35-45 minutes.
