While raising four children in Montreal's Nôtre-Dame-de-Grace area, Joan Pepin McGuigan started her career in real estate in 1970, continuing the real estate tradition started by her mother (and continued by Joan's daughter, Sharon McGuigan, a successful real estate agent in Toronto). Joan received her Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, one of only 10 women in a class of 75. Besides her active involvement in several Montreal charities, notably the Montreal Chamber Orchestra and the McGill Women's Alumnae Association, she also chairs the Commerce '55 Scholarship Endowment Fund which she co-founded in 1985. Joan worked with her husband Brian for 25 years at Royal Lepage (where Joan was awarded a Lifetime Award of Excellence) in Montreal before receiving her own broker's license in 1994. On January 1, 1995, she and Brian launched the new family business, McGuigan Pepin Inc., and were joined 5 years later by their son, Tim. Now with 7 grandchildren, Joan is active as ever running her business, arranging family events, and pursuing her own leisure passions which include golf, weight training, travel and cooking.

Born and raised in Montreal, Brian received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University. A champion golfer for many years, Brian played on 7 Willingdon Cup Teams for the province of Quebec. He won the Quebec Amateur Championship in 1955 and 1961 and was Club Champion ten times and Senior Club Champion twice at Summerlea Golf and Country Club. In 1959 Brian was low amateur in the Canadian Open and was chairman of the 1981 LPGA Du Maurier Classic. He was president of his golf club twice. Brian has been actively involved in community organizations such as the Rotary Club of Westmount, the Royal Montreal Curling Club and more recently the Montreal Chamber Orchestra. After 25 years with a major real estate firm in Montreal, Brian and Joan obtained their brokers' licenses in 1994 and opened their own real estate brokerage company soon after. Married to Joan Pepin, they have four children and seven grandchildren.

Tim joined the family business in January 2000, after almost 10 years in financial management and investment counseling for two major financial institutions where he received several awards for sales excellence in Canada. He also ran educational seminars about the banking industry and had articles on both the financial industry and real estate published in several Montreal newspapers. He received his chartered real estate agent's license in 2005. Born and raised in NDG, Tim was educated in the French school system and is fluently bilingual. At Concordia University, he studied economics and later received his Financial Planning Certificate. A sports and arts enthusiast, Tim enjoys golf, painting and design. Tim has two kids of post-secondary age.

Reggie joined our company as an affiliated agent in 2006. She was born in Saskatchewan, received her Bachelor of Education from the U of S and taught school in Saskatoon.  Her teaching experience is a great asset in helping to educate buyers on making the right choices.  She moved to Montreal in 1980 with her husband where she raised two children and ran her own business in silkscreen design.  Prior to settling in Westmount these past 22 years, she lived in Le Plateau and downtown.  She is often called upon for her staging skills to help prepare our clients' homes for photos and showings.
